There’s no such thing as a standard person, which is why at Harrison, there’s no such thing as a standard bed. Outside and in, it’s designed around you, right down to the last stitch. Using natural materials, it’s tailored to the size and firmness that suits you, and upholstered to your taste. It’s more than just a bed, it’s a completely bespoke night’s sleep. Harrison's commitment to protecting our environment is world-leading within in the industry and they have been recognised with two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.
They’ve also just gained Carbon Neutral+ accreditation for their award winning sustainability.
From farming their own wool, weaving their own fabrics in Leeds, drawing their own wire and making their own springs - over 90% of the components that make Harrison mattresses are made by them.
In 2009, Harrison set out to make a change, and now grow nearly 800 tonnes of natural fibre filling materials per year, including hemp, flax and wool, on their own 300-acre farm in North Yorkshire. Harrison are also fully committed to a sustainable future, being the first bed manufacturer to completely eliminate foam from all of our products and pledge 100% glue free product development. Their high-density springs are now made with titanium alloy, taking comfort to a whole new level. 40% lighter than before, they make your mattress that much easier to turn.
